Cardiosteroil Garlic & CoEnzyme Q10 offers the combined effect of two ingredients that are among the most beneficial for your heart.
The medicinal use of garlic (Allium Sativum) goes back far into history: there are indications of its importance in the Egyptian pyramids and even biblical references to its use. The ancient Greek physician Hippocrates prescribed it to treat numerous diseases, and Greek athletes used it to improve their performance. Today, its many benefits are known: it prevents heart disease (including atherosclerosis), lowers high cholesterol levels and reduces high blood pressure. Numerous studies have demonstrated the cardiovascular benefits of garlic: the intake of garlic can reduce the accumulation of cholesterol on the vessel walls, reduce the deposition of plaque in the aorta, and inhibit vascular calcification in patients with high cholesterol levels.
The vasodilating properties of garlic are probably due to its allicin content and the breakdown of garlic-derived polysulfides to hydrogen sulfide in the red blood cells, a reaction dependent on reduced thioles in or on the red blood cell membrane. Hydrogen sulfide is an endogenous cardioprotective signal molecule of the vascular cells. Garlic reduces the oxidation of LDL cholesterol, which is one of the most important factors in accelerating atherosclerosis.
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) has an energizing effect on the heart. CoQ10, also known as ubiquinone (its name has the same root as the word “ubiquitous” and in fact CoQ10 is present in every cell of the body!) is an essential part of the electron transport chain, as it is responsible for the absorption and transfer of electrons in the mitochondria. The heart muscle cells contain twice as much Coenzyme Q10 as any other cell in our body; they also need more of it because they have a higher energy requirement and oxygen consumption. It has been shown that the interruption of CoQ10 synthesis and the associated reduction in mitochondrial energy production can lead to muscle pain (myalgia). The intake of CoQ10 supplements is therefore strongly recommended.
The unique formula of Cardiosteroil Garlic & CoEnzyme Q10 is micro-encapsulated for better protection and is presented in liquid capsules for faster absorption and higher bioavailability.
CoQ10 → Provides the heart with energy
Garlic oil macerate → protection for the heart
INDICATIONS
Recommended for patients with borderline cholesterol levels, patients who may be prone to an increase in cholesterol, patients with an unhealthy diet who eat high-fat foods, or simply to maintain a healthy heart.
KEY POINTS
Unlike tablets, CoQ10 in liquid form is not processed: fewer auxiliaries are required, so it remains more active, the mixing process requires less time and there is no compression phase.
CoEnzym Q10 supplements are among the best-selling dietary supplements, right after the omega fish oils. The fact that it is available in liquid form is a great competitive advantage, because research shows that the bioavailability of CoQ10 in Cardiosteroil liquid capsules is increased by 32% compared to other softgel formulations.
Taking Cardiosteroil Garlic & CoEnzyme Q10 may cause a reduction in systolic blood pressure by up to 17 mm and diastolic blood pressure by up to 10 mm. The best results are expected after about 12 weeks of treatment.
This product combines two ingredients important for a healthy heart in one liquid capsule: garlic helps protect the heart, and CoQ10 helps to provide it with energy.
Made in France.
Instructions
1 to 2 capsules per day or as directed by your doctor.
Note for customers on CoQ10 formulation: If the capsules are exposed to temperature fluctuations, especially at low temperatures, crystallization may occur. This phenomenon is reversible and the CoQ10 crystals dissolve again when the product is exposed to a warmer temperature (above room temperature). Please note that this phenomenon does not affect the stability of CoQ10 in any way, as confirmed by an HPLC analysis (high-performance liquid chromatography) of the CoQ10 content in our capsules.
