Simildiet Collagenase is an enzyme that has the ability to break down peptide bonds of collagen to a physiological pH. Participates in physiological processes that depend on the integrity of collagen or its fibrillary rearrangement. Its main function is the normal replacement of collagen, but its activity is increased to achieve the remodeling of the extracellular matrix. Acts selectively on amorphous collagen fibers and causes its own restructuring thanks to the strong activation of fibroblasts.
